Description

Northwest Cabinets, Inc. is a fast growing Millwork Mfg company located in Bemidji, MN. We are looking for an payroll/accounting associate to join our company.

Job duties

  • Weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll processing using Quick Books
  • Process payroll, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Semi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly payroll tax payments via the IRS and Minnesota and North Dakota websites.
  • Sales tax reporting and payments
  • Unemployment tax reporting and payments
  • Preparing quarterly and annual payroll reports
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients and coworkers.
  • Reconcile and process year end payroll returns including W-2s and 1099s.
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Manage multiple checking and credit card accounts
  • Maintain computer and hard copy financial files.
  • Attention to detail and tracking of orders and invoices in order to maintain accurate and reliable financial records.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Bookkeeping Quick Books desktop and Quick Books online
  • Administrative prep
  • Working closely with the partners and managers
  • Answer phone
  • Greet and direct visitors to appropriate staff
  • Maintain work space

Experience:

  • bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
  • payroll: 1 year (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in payroll processing (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Quick Books (desktop and online)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook Email
  • Associates degree or higher in accounting is preferred bu not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
