Job Description Purpose: Part of Syngenta’s HR Operations team you will coordinate critical payroll and Comp and Ben related activities across the region, provide expert advise to in-country teams on global policies, processes and good practices and manage change requests and incidents. You will lead process improvement and automation initiatives and perform administrative processes. To be successful we believe you will have a strong payroll and HR delivery background and have recent experience in improvement and automation. You will partner with key stakeholders across the Europe region and on global projects therefore strong relationship and influencing skills is important as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks. This is an autonomous role and will suit an individual who demonstrates the skills above along with experience of working in a culturally diverse environment. Accountabilities in more detail: Coordinate the annual compensation cycle across Europe Coordinate ad hoc and recurring payroll activities across Europe (disaster recovery plans, yearly calendars, bonus payments, data reconciliation, audit processes) Identify opportunities for introducing new approaches, improvement and automation in the field of payroll across Europe and potentially worldwide and coordinate implementation Coordinate payroll and compensation & benefits related change requests Provide expert advise in the field of payroll, annual compensation cycle and related processes Contribute to capability building across HR teams in the Region Act as a regional point of escalation for payroll incidents Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects Manage administration like vendor invoices, monitoring of fees, PO creation, access to payroll systems, regular access audits, DL lists, sharepoints Qualifications Knowledge and experience Excellent operational or SME experience in the payroll and HR domain with a proven track record in actively being a part of implementing payroll improvements and automation through to delivery Experience working with large regional teams in a matrixed environment Experience collaborating across geographies and cultures Strong payroll and C&B operations expertise, change management experience and capabilities Experience working with payroll vendors and with an in-house payroll setting Strong technical knowledge with HR systems (Workday, SAP), integrations, automation You will have the ability to analyse information to reach an answer or conclusion, challenge status quo, effective problem solving, think end-to-end across data, technology, processes and teams High level of effective communication with ability to adapt style and language to the audience Ability to deliver administrative activities accurately and on time Lean/Six Sigma certification Additional Information We offer: Dynamic and international environment Long-term opportunities Annual bonus, pension fund, health care Possibility of working from home Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion or any other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
