Description Are you a payroll pro who loves accuracy, compliance, and clean data? Larry H. Miller Senior Health is looking for a Payroll & Tax Specialist to support full-cycle payroll operations, manage payroll tax accounts, and help keep our payroll systems accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. What You’ll Do Support full-cycle payroll processing, including off-cycle adjustments Process employee changes (new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, garnishments) Validate payroll data before submission to ensure accuracy Maintain employee records in the HRIS, including tax setups and job data Manage payroll tax accounts, registrations, filings, and reconciliations Respond to payroll tax notices and coordinate resolutions with vendors Support audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and tax information Requirements What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of payroll processing and payroll tax experience Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance Experience maintaining employee data in an HRIS Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, Workday, UKG Smartlinx, or similar) Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management Intermediate Excel skills Nice to Have Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field Multi-state payroll tax experience Experience supporting audits or resolving tax notices CPP certification (or working toward it) Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Voluntary Short and Long Term Disability Voluntary Life Insurance PTO Discounts on home, auto, and pet insurance 401(k) plans with a percentage of the employee portion matched by the company Discount at Larry H.
