Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As Payroll Assistant, you will support the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and internal policies. You’ll be working closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain payroll accuracy and support employees with any payroll-related queries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process monthly payroll for UK employees, ensuring all data is accurate and deadlines are met
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up to date and compliant
  • Handle queries regarding pay, tax, pensions, and other payroll matters
  • Administer statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)
  • Reconcile payroll reports and assist with year-end tasks including P60s and P11Ds
  • Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies when required
