Payroll Assistant Manager /Manager We are looking to hire for our Outsourced Payroll Team in Grant Thornton at payroll specialist, assistant manager and manager level. This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast growing payroll team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will be able to work to tight deadlines and be the point of contact for numerous clients. The successful candidates will manage end-to-end payroll operations, provide technical payroll expertise within the tax function, and ensure the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and client service. These positions require strong technical knowledge, people management skills, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities: processing of payrolls for a number of clients – weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls; co-ordination of preparation of payroll data for all staff; production of payroll runs, including all relevant documentation, and statutory records; dealing with day to day queries on client payrolls and benefit related issues through our designated client contact; other such duties in connection with payroll issues as may arise from time to time; act as subject matter expert on payroll tax matters within the EmployementTax Team Skills and attributes previous payroll experience with a payroll bureau, ideally with Quantum, EuropayX and Sage Micropay; 3+ years' experience in a similar position IPASS Qualification preferable a detailed knowledge of PAYE (including BIK) and PRSI; familiarity with ROS and EFT processes; experience in MS Office, Excel and curious about AI ability to meet tight deadlines consistently, and to take ownership of role; good interpersonal skills; high level of initiative with excellent attention to detail and a sense of responsibility. #LI-KS1 We are Grant Thornton Grant Thornton Ireland is rapidly approaching 3,000 people, in 9 offices across Ireland, Isle of Man, Gibraltar and Bermuda.
