Payroll & Benefits Administrator
Markham, ON
$60,000-$70,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Process payroll for over 200 salaried employees
  • Administer payroll setup, amendments, and terminations for employees with various pay structures and schedules (bi-weekly/monthly).
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including profiles, time-off tracking, and payroll-related documentation.
  • Handle off-cycle payrolls as needed.
  • Use ADP software to process payroll; experience with implementation or integration of other platforms into ADP
  • Manage benefits and pension administration, liaise with benefits providers, and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with CRA, WSIB, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and distribute T4s, process holiday bonuses, and conduct year-end payroll tasks.
  • Assist in onboarding payrolls from other management companies and ensure proper documentation is obtained and reviewed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll position handling multiple payrolls with varying structures and schedules.
  • Strong familiarity with ADP payroll systems.
  • PCP certification preferred (or currently in progress).
  • Excellent knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and remittance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
