JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and hands-on Payroll and Benefits Administrator to oversee daily administrative, payroll, and benefit tasks. They will assist the management team and employees in the process of obtaining information for payroll processing and issues; responding to/resolving basic benefits administration and fielding questions; performing reception and administrative work supporting the management team and customer work; and delivering quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This position will be expected to work primarily in Lewiston with occasional travel to Portland and to jobsites as necessary.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Two or more years of office-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; college degree is highly preferred
· Solid understanding of payroll and benefit administration preferred
· Proven proficiency with MS Office, standard software systems/programs, and office equipment (e.g., telephone, head set, computer, printer/copier)
· Proven excellence with customer service, positivity, and problem resolution
· Possess a high level of confidentiality
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
