JOB SUMMARY

The Benefits and Data Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the administration and management of employee benefits programs. This position requires a strong understanding of benefits administration, payroll management, and accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while providing exceptional service to employees regarding their benefits inquiries. The Benefits Manager and Data Manager will collaborate closely with human resources and finance teams to optimize benefit offerings and enhance employee satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in benefits administration or human resources management.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in data entry and account reconciliation.
  • Understanding of tax regulations related to employee benefits is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with employees at all levels regarding their benefits inquiries.

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with HR to communicate benefit options effectively to employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollment and changes using Paychex
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the development of policies related to employee benefits.
  • Analyze benefit trends and recommend improvements or changes as needed.
  • Provide support for payroll management processes using systems like Paychex or Kronos.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions related to benefits providers.
  • Perform account reconciliation and maintain general ledger accounting records.
  • Run and manipulate manufacturing reports from company ERP
