At WQS Group of Companies, we’re a growing, Indigenous-owned group of companies providing top-tier services across to the industrial sector across Western Canada. Some of what we do includes inspection services, industrial trades and rope access, coating and sandblasting services, and so much more! We’re looking for a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to handle weekly payroll processing, benefits administration, and system maintenance using Dayforce. You’ll play a key role in keeping our workforce - unionized and non-unionized - supported and paid accurately!
This is an 8–10 month term position with the potential to become permanent. We have the flexibility to hire for either our Fort McMurray or Edmonton office - our priority is finding the right person, not just the right location.

Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll in Dayforce for union and non-union employees.
  • Administer employee benefits - enrollments, terminations, and billing.
  • Maintain Dayforce payroll system - keep Dayforce running smoothly.
  • Complete union remittances & enrollments - ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support employees - answer payroll and benefits questions with confidence.
  • Ensure compliance - labor laws, collective agreements, and reporting.
