We’ve partnered with a wonderful non-profit organization in Calgary’s SE to help them find a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Administrator to join their small and dedicated team. This is a part-time contract role running for approximately 12 to 14 months, starting ASAP!

Working 3 days a week, you’ll take ownership of full-cycle payroll and benefits administration for approximately 55 employees. This is a great role for someone who enjoys autonomy, consistency, and a clear sense of contribution. You’ll be relied on to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality at every step of the payroll process

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Canadian Payroll is required
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certificate considered an asset
  • Knowledge of various payroll software/platforms

  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to function effectively autonomously as well as in a team environment

Base Salary: $22.00 per hour depending on assignment

  • Temporary employees are payrolled weekly via direct deposit.

Work Hours: Part time

  • 8:00AM - 4:30PM (Flex)
  • 3 days a week

Responsibilities
  • Running full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for 55 staff members
  • Administering employee benefits and handling related inquiries
  • Reconciling payroll-related accounts and preparing reports as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with employment standards and internal policies
  • Managing vacation, sick time, statutory holiday tracking, and adjustments
  • Supporting year-end payroll functions (T4s, ROEs, etc.)
  • Liaising with the finance and HR teams as required
