Robert is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll transactions, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. You will work closely with the HR and accounting departments to manage employee compensation and benefits information. Your attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality will ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time. Responsibilities Process payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule. Maintain and update payroll records and employee information. Calculate wages, deductions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues. Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings as required. Assist in audits related to payroll and ensure data confidentiality. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations. Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar administrative role. Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong numerical and data entry skills with high accuracy. Understanding of payroll processes and relevant legislation. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or finance are a plus.
