Job Title: Payroll Cluster Lead - APAC Reports To: Global Payroll Director Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview: The Payroll Cluster/Region Lead is responsible for overseeing payroll delivery for (insert region/cluster) ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee wages, bonuses and deductions, timely payment of taxes and delivery of statutory reports. You will work closely with HR, Benefits, Finance and our global payroll vendor to ensure payroll systems accurately administer policies and maintain accurate employee records. Responsibilities: Manage a team of payroll specialists and administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. Review and approve final payroll results. Coach and mentor payroll team members fostering a high performance culture. Implement and maintain requirements for payroll systems, policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure accuracy. Regularly assess payroll vendor performance against agreed upon metrics and KPI’s to ensure they are meeting expectations and drive continuous improvement. Build partnerships with key stakeholders in HR, Benefits and Finance to ensure seamless data integration, reporting and change management. Resolve complex payroll issues, manage auditors and handle escalations from employees, managers or stakeholders. Monitor legislative changes and update payroll practices to maintain compliance with local legislation. Lead process optimization and technology adoption to streamline payroll operations. Prepare and analyze payroll reports, metrics and budget for leadership review. The Ideal Candidate… Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 7-12 years of payroll management experience, preferably multi country Ability to inspire, motivate and guide a team towards common goals In depth knowledge of payroll controls and an understanding of compliance regulations impacting payroll. Knowledge of HR, Payroll and Finance systems (WorkDay, Strada, ADP, Oracle) Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a multicultural, remote working environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment. Ability to manage vendor performance.
