What's the role? We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Compliance Coordinator to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our HR systems and processes. This role is a unique blend of technical payroll administration and rigorous auditing. You will oversee superannuation compliance, system configurations, and complex reporting. ER & Payroll Audits: Execute comprehensive audits on all payroll and ER-required datasets to ensure accuracy and legislative adherence.EBA/Award audit comparison to system configuration Audit Management: Take full ownership of existing audit schedules, ensuring no lapse in oversight or data integrity. System Maintenance: Oversee and execute configuration setups within the payroll system to reflect changes in legislation, company policy, or EBAs. Process Optimization: Identify system gaps and work to streamline payroll workflows through better technical utilization. Reporting: Design and generate complex reports for stakeholders, focusing on compliance metrics, labor costs, and audit findings. Technical Support: Partner with the Senior Payroll Officer to navigate complex payroll processes and legislative changes. Payroll Processing: Provide "hands-on" support to the payroll team during peak periods or leave, ensuring the end-to-end pay run is completed accurately and on time. Identifying and implementing process improvements: identify process improvement opportunities within , Payroll , HRIS and users of Dayforce Who are you? Payroll Expertise: Proven experience in a high-volume payroll environment with a deep understanding of end-to-end processing. Systems Knowledge: Strong technical proficiency in payroll & Time and Attendance systems is essential. Dayforce experience is highly regarded. Audit Mindset: Prior experience in payroll auditing or compliance-heavy roles, with a proven ability to navigate large-scale data for accuracy and regulatory alignment Legislative Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of superannuation requirements, payroll tax, and general employment standards.
