Responsibilities

The Payroll Consultant (f/m/d) is responsible for an accurate and timely payroll processing for all entities within Germany. In addition, we participate in both, global and local projects, to continuously improve our services, processes, and systems.

Responsibilities also include the following:

  • Ability to perform Payroll Associate tasks, including but not limited to competencies in tax, social security, maternity, paternity etc.
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers, peers, stakeholders and managers, especially on country-specific topics, policies, and local laws
  • Escalation point for non-standard cases and processes
  • Evaluations and reports to ensure and comply with legal requirements as well as audits for internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaises with third parties and external authorities
  • Monitoring of defined audit points of payroll transaction services to ensure legal requirements are met
  • Support to ensure implementation of payroll relevant project activities
  • Apply standard global processes and controls while remaining flexible to reflect country-specific specifics such as the local payroll calendar, guidelines, and legal requirements.
