Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Coordinator to take ownership of our bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing and payroll-related compliance. This role is the primary point of contact for payroll accuracy, system updates, and employee pay inquiries. In addition to payroll responsibilities, this position will provide support across HR operations, including onboarding, employee experience initiatives, benefits administration, and general HR coordination. This role is 100% on site at our Allen location. What You’ll Do Primary Responsibilities: Payroll & HR Systems • Process accurate and timely bi-weekly multi-state payroll • Maintain and update employee payroll records within the HRIS • Ensure payroll compliance with federal and state regulations • Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and respond to employee pay questions • Support year-end payroll activities and reporting • Coordinate with Finance and other departments on payroll-related matters Secondary Responsibilities: HR Support Functions Employee Experience, Learning, and People & Culture Initiatives • Assist with employee engagement and wellness initiatives • Support company product benefit programs • Help maintain and update HR policies and the employee handbook • Serve as a resource for day-to-day employee questions Compliance, HRIS & Data Management • Maintain accurate and organized HR records in the HRIS • Assist with compliance requirements and ensure adherence to employment laws • Partner with IT to coordinate system access for new hires and terminations • Monitor and research HR regulatory updates as needed Onboarding & Offboarding • Support end-to-end onboarding, including new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, and orientation • Coordinate background checks • Assist with offboarding, including exit interviews and processing final pay in accordance with multi-state regulations Talent Acquisition Support • Assist with interview scheduling and coordination • Maintain requisition tracking and support hiring reporting Requirements What We’re Looking For • 2–3 years of experience in a payroll-focused HR role (Payroll Coordinator, HR Coordinator, or HR Generalist) • At least 2 years of multi-state payroll processing experience • Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Paylocity • Exposure to recruiting support, onboarding, and general HR administration • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
