EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in payroll management and processing is essential.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and financial software; experience with PeopleSoft, UltiPro, or Kronos is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Review manage payroll for hourly employees on a weekly basis.
  • Stay current with payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare and submit Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs) in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements (e.g., WH-347 forms).
  • Ensure compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, state prevailing wage laws, and project-specific labor standards.
  • Keep company in compliance with IRA Clean Energy Act regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee classifications, hours worked, and wage rates.
