Our HR Team is seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Assistant to partner with our Payroll & Benefits Specialist! This position will be responsible for providing support and assistance in dealing with all aspects of payroll and benefits for TicketNetwork and other entities that fall under our shared service. Primarily, the Payroll Assistance will provide support for all tasks and activities necessary to process biweekly, weekly and/or semi-monthly payrolls for over 500 employees in 7 companies; this includes maintaining related records, performing research when necessary, and ensuring that all data entered into payroll is accurate. This role will also assist in benefit administration, employee support, and other HR- and payroll-related tasks that the department takes on.
Ideal candidates will have experience in auditing and examining payroll data, accurate data entry, payroll law and statutes, and an interest in learning more!

Responsibilities

To Support our Payroll & Benefits Specialist, this role will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with payroll processing for TicketNetwork and entities falling under TicketNetwork’s shared service.
  • On a weekly basis audit all new/rehire employee paperwork to ensure accuracy in the HRIS system.
  • On a biweekly basis providing support in reviewing timecards and accruals for accuracy.
  • On a biweekly basis audit the following changes in the HRIS system; entity changes, rate changes, manager changes, status changes and personal information changes.
  • Researching state laws/changes including sick pay and final paycheck policies
  • Maintaining state account spreadsheet and state notifications
  • Assist with administration of benefits which includes; monthly benefit meetings, audit enrollments on a biweekly basis after payroll, auditing benefit enrollments monthly with each carrier and paying monthly/quarterly benefit bills.
  • Reviewing 401k changes, including deferral, loan and hardship forms.
  • Tracking and ensure timely submission of employee reviews/compensation sheets
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records to meet state and federal compliance
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll topics
  • Providing assistance and support for projects and strategic initiatives related to payroll, compensation, and HR analytics on an as-needed basis.
  • Creating various audits as needed to ensure accuracy of the HRIS system.
  • Additional tasks and projects as directed to support the HR team
