You’ll support leaders and employees across the business with expert payroll guidance—helping the organization achieve its goals through its people. This is a 2‑year full-time maximum‑term opportunity, based at our Altona office. How you’ll make an impact Support payroll delivery by maintaining, validating, and supporting Shared Services payroll activities processed through a third‑party provider, including scheduled payrolls and express payments. You’ll act as the key operational contact for the vendor and resolve Workday/Payroll system integration issues. Responsible for reconciling and processing superannuation, PAYG, payroll clearing accounts, GL entries, and end‑of‑month reporting, alongside statutory, labour cost, and ad‑hoc reporting requests. Partnering with HR Business Partners on Shared Services payroll matters, resolving operational queries, coordinating planning forums, escalating non‑standard risks, and ensuring strong alignment between internal teams and the external provider. Managing responsibilities in line with all legislative and statutory requirements to minimise organizational risk and exposure. Assist in the review, and continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures to ensure they continue to meet business objectives.
