The Role We are seeking a Payroll & Data Migration Analyst to support a critical 12-month payroll data migration project as part of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and successful migration of payroll data, working closely with HR, Finance, and external implementation partners. The position requires strong regional technical payroll expertise, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Payroll Data Migration & System Implementation: Support the end-to-end migration of payroll data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Validate, cleanse, and reconcile legacy payroll data prior to migration Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate mapping of payroll elements (earnings, deductions, benefits, etc.) Assist in system configuration testing, including parallel runs and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, or data gaps during migration Payroll Processing Support: Assist in processing payroll during the transition period to ensure business continuity Ensure payroll outputs are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time Support reconciliation activities between legacy systems and Dynamics 365 outputs Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact between HR, Finance, and IT / system implementation partners Provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes and statutory requirements Support training and knowledge transfer to internal teams post-implementation Compliance & Controls: Ensure payroll data and processes comply with UAE labour laws and company policies Maintain strict confidentiality of employee data and payroll information Support audit requirements related to payroll data migration and system changes Skills, Knowledge and Experience Experience & Technical Skills: Minimum 3–5 years’ solid payroll/data migration experience, preferably in a UAE-based organisation, but with regional MENA experience Proven experience working on payroll system implementations or data migrations Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O / Finance modules) — essential Strong understanding of payroll structures, including Salaries, allowances, commissions, End-of-service benefits, Leave and absence impact on payroll Advanced Excel skills (data validation, reconciliation, analysis) with experience with manual payroll/accounting systems would be preferrable Regional Payroll knowledge and experience is preferred Strong working knowledge of UAE/regional payroll practices Exposure to regional payroll systems and practices across the GCC and wider region is highly desirable, specifically in UAE, Bahrain, Oman, KSA, and Egypt This will support accurate data migration and alignment across multi-country payroll structures. High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism Working Relationships: HR Team (payroll, employee data, policies) Finance Team (GL, reconciliations, cost allocation) IT / ERP Implementation Partners External Payroll Vendors This role will directly support a high-impact transformation initiative (F&O), ensuring: Accurate payroll migration Minimal disruption to employee pay Strong foundation for future HR and Finance integration
