POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a central role in ensuring accurate, timely, and confidential payroll processing and maintaining comprehensive HR data. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering weekly payroll, managing employee records, overseeing benefits administration, and supporting core HR operations across a growing workforce of 500+ employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration, with strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (mandatory).
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate HR and payroll records in a mid-to-large organization (500+ employees).
  • Solid understanding of Canadian employment standards, payroll regulations, and benefits administration.
  • High attention to detail, with proven ability to handle confidential data and operate with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet weekly payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel); comfort with learning new software and systems.
  • PCP or CHRP designation (or working toward) considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update employee data within the ADP HRIS platform, ensuring data integrity and seamless system functionality.
  • Coordinate year-end payroll tasks, such as T4s, ROEs, and payroll audits.
