Homelessness is the largest social and public health crisis in California. Illumination Health + Home (IH+H) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children’s and family programs. IH+H currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Payroll & HR Coordinator at Illumination Health + Home plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely semi-monthly payroll processing for 300+ employees. This position is responsible for maintaining payroll records, managing deductions, reconciling reports, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong understanding of payroll systems and processes, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. In addition to Payroll, the coordinator will provide essential support to the HR department, assisting with benefits administration, 401(k) coordination, and other HR functions as needed. A strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and problem-solving is essential to support the organization’s mission effectively.
The pay rate for this role is: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. In office position at our Santa Ana, California Corporate Office.
