POSITION SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented and dependable Payroll/HR Coordinator to manage payroll processing for approximately 300 employees and support various HR functions. This role requires complete confidentiality/discretion, exceptional interpersonal skills, an understanding of payroll systems (preferably Paycom), and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding attendance record and punctuality a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required:
  • Proven experience processing payroll for 200+ employees.
  • Proficient in using HRIS/payroll software; Paycom experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Preferred:
  • Diploma, Certificate, or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience in an HR support role.

Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration:
  • Accurately process weekly payroll for ~300 employees using Paycom.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping.
  • HRIS & Data Management:
  • Manage employee data in Paycom including new hires, terminations, benefits, and position changes.
  • Audit and maintain accurate HRIS records and reports.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports from Paycom as requested by leadership.
  • HR Support:
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Help foster a positive and responsive HR environment.
