We are seeking an Integration Specialist to lead the General Ledger setup and configuration of our payroll software for clients. This client-facing role will ensure seamless GL mapping, allowing payroll data to integrate accurately with the client’s accounting system.
You will work directly with business owners, accountants, and payroll managers to configure our payroll software based on their unique financial structures. The role involves analyzing client GL needs, mapping payroll transactions, troubleshooting integration issues, and providing training on proper payroll-to-GL workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their GL structure and payroll needs.
  • Map payroll data to client GL systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve GL mapping issues in both staging and production environments.
  • Provide technical support for payroll-to-GL integrations, including QuickBooks imports.
  • Utilize SQL to query and analyze payroll and accounting data.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to improve integration processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • General Ledger experience with a strong understanding of GL structure, debits, credits, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with Payroll Systems, a deep understanding of QuickBooks or other construction specific accounting platforms is a huge plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUM/IF)
  • Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting highly desired.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and build strong client relationships.
  • Experience reconciling payroll transactions with the general ledger, identifying mismatches, and troubleshooting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
