We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations for Europe and the Middle East. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery, championing the employee experience, managing partnerships with external payroll service providers, and identifying areas for process improvement. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Payments and collaborate closely with the HR and People Operations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of payroll professionals, investing in their training and development and providing feedback that helps them grow.
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll operations across 20+ countries in Europe and the Middle East, ensuring full compliance with local laws and tax regulations.
  • Analyze and improve current payroll processes, identifying opportunities for automation, integration, and standardization.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations on researching and answering employee payroll queries, while providing timely, clear, and compassionate support.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to integrate systems, resolve issues, improve internal controls, and streamline workflows.
  • Oversee relationships with payroll service providers, ensuring data accuracy, service level adherence, and seamless delivery.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of payroll policies and procedures, staying current with changes in relevant legislation.
  • Lead or support payroll-related audits, both internal and external.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for payroll issues, audits, tax inquiries, and regulatory changes across EMEA.
