We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to our corporate finance/accounting team. As a Payroll Manager, you will lead and manage payroll operations across our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of multi-state payrolls, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, and serving as the internal subject matter expert on payroll systems and practices.
You will report directly to the Director of Payroll and be based out of Nth Degree’s corporate office in Duluth GA. We do function in a hybrid capacity; typically, two days in the office, three days remote.
Salary is $90-100,000

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete payroll cycle, including hourly and salary disbursements, bonus and commission payments, and deduction calculations using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ensure all payroll activities comply with local, state, and federal tax laws, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and financial statements.
  • Prepare and file accurate payroll-related and union related reports for internal management and external parties (tax authorities, union funds and auditors)
  • Process monthly union benefit payments and coordinate payroll and union audits and ensure accuracy compliance with CBA standards.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and other departments on payroll inputs and union fund administration.
  • Manage payroll tax reporting and filings in coordination with ADP and external auditors.
  • Continuously review and improve payroll processes and controls.
