All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview:
Riverside Research is looking for a Payroll Manager who will oversee and manage all payroll and payroll-related activities for 700+ employees. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, in this position you will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with payroll laws and regulations, and effectively utilize Deltek Costpoint and UKG. The Payroll Manager will act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related issues and questions, providing exceptional customer service across the organization. This position will not have any direct reports.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • UKG Payroll Pro experience
  • Ability to quickly adapt to company policies and processes.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Internal Controls, Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

  • Global Comp: $90,000- $120,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors. Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and submit weekly and semi-monthly payroll, along with benefit, timecard and other adjustments in coordination with HR
  • Stay up to date on federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations, and ensure the organization remains compliant
  • Calculate and withhold appropriate taxes (federal, state, and local income taxes, FICA, FUTA) and ensure timely tax filings and payments. Facilitate and resolve tax issues.
  • Process various leave accruals and reconcile balances
  • Manage the Payroll inbox and respond to employee questions about payroll, deductions, and related matters
  • Process year-end forms and reconcile against quarterly 941 returns.
  • Lead the development/updates of payroll policies, calendars, checklists, and other procedural documentation
