ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and process payroll operations during a temporary engagement. This role is mostly remote, but candidates must live within commuting distance to attend onsite as needed. The Payroll Manager will ensure timely, accurate payroll administration and compliance with all applicable regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multi-state employees.
  • Oversee payroll accuracy, including wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Serve as point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance on reporting and audits.
  • Review and improve payroll procedures to ensure efficiency.
