JOB TITLE: PAYROLL/OFFICE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

The Payroll/Office Administration Assistant will primarily be responsible for overseeing key day-to-day payroll inputs and processes to provide accurate and timely information to the Finance Department. In addition to this you will be required to provide general administration duties for Transport, Production and Engineering departments. This role requires a strong understanding of detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively record and manage financial, performance and inventory related records.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of payroll administration and general office administration tasks.
  • Attention to detail in handling financial and stock control data.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of inventory management systems.
  • Experience in conducting stock audits and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

· Provide general administrative support to department managers, this may include sourcing, booking and recording of training.
· Providing information to assist managers in identifying areas for improvement in procurement processes and performance management.
· Provide assistance in preparing and issuing purchase orders, tracking their progress, managing inventory and assisting with supplier relations to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
· Monitoring stock levels, tracking inventory, storage and distribution of products while maintaining accurate records.

· Assist in responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner, addressing concerns related to payroll and inventory.
