We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join us on a Permanent Part-Time basis to run and oversee our payroll operations in a day-to-day capacity, as well as conduct a comprehensive review of current payroll processes and practices, and establish recommendations for future efficiency and structure. This is a newly created, part-time position for 30 hours per week offering flexibility on your working days depending on key payroll deadlines.  Key Responsibilities Working closely with the Finance and People & Culture (P&C) teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our company payroll. Your day-to-day duties will include: * Take full responsibility of end-to-end payroll processing, taking over the core payroll duties. * Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. * Working closely with the Finance and P&C team to flag and document any issues related to policy adherence identified during the payroll process. * Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data. * Responding to and resolving payroll queries from team members. * Processing new hires, terminations, leave, and other team member changes and exception reporting. * Delivering strategic recommendations to future-proof the company's payroll efficiency. Who We're Looking For * Proven experience in a similar role * Strong understanding of payroll legislation and processing requirements. * Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently. * Experience with various payroll software. * Experience with iPayroll - highly advantageous. * A commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
