You enjoy a challenge, thrive in a fast-paced environment and open to learning along the way, as we have recently integrated a new payroll system. In this busy role, you will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for delivering accurate and confidential payroll services in accordance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements. You’ll support payroll compliance, reporting, and system integrity while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing Running smooth on time accurate payrolls (weekly & fortnightly) Maintain payroll governance and compliance to support identification and resolution of payroll risks and issues Handling leave reconciliations, journals, and EOFY processes Keeping our payroll systems (ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Workday) updated Assisting with payroll reporting, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement projects. Collaborating with HR and Finance to keep everything moving Contributing to process improvements and team projects About you Ideally you have 2 years’ experience as a Payroll Officer within a Manufacturing, or FMCG industry. Good understanding of Australian payroll legislation, EAs, and awards Computer literate with Intermediate Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP highly regarded) Experienced running a payroll using an integrated payroll system, and time and attendance with some manual intervention (ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Time and Attendance, and Workday is highly regarded) Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders and customers A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently Excellent time management and coordination skills with a sense of urgency, results focused, with high attention to detail and analytical mindset You have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and customer focused in everything you do!
