Spotlight Retail Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our talented Payroll Team in a fixed term 12 months contract with a view to turn into a permanent position, offering ongoing training, mentoring and career progression with work life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Process fortnightly payroll through Preceda
  • Assist in the formulation, implementation and maintenance of payroll strategies, systems and processes
  • Investigating and resolving pay discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Provide timely advice to staff and management on performance/payroll related
  • Assist in creating related material for induction and development programs in stores and support group
  • Generating periodic reporting to meet business requirements – fortnightly, monthly and annually
  • Analysis of data, reconciliations, and system health checks
  • Database maintenance, including regular data integrity checking
  • Liaising with third parties regarding team member details on an ad hoc basis
