ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING

You will work within the Nairn based HR/Payroll team providing admin support for a wide range of payroll related activities, in addition you will provide support to employees’ and business managers in resolving their payroll queries. You will work alongside the other members of the payroll team on a variety of payroll related projects and monthly payroll deliverables to ensure the accurate delivery of the payroll service for over 12,000 employees. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop and grow your knowledge in several payroll related processes.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Good level of accuracy and attention to detail including requirement to handle confidential data
  • Previous office experience desirable but not essential
  • Agility in work approach - a team player and able to work independently

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting employees with resolving their payroll queries
  • Populating and tracking input of data on excel spreadsheets and within the payroll system
  • Completing required data checks and adhering to monthly payroll timetable
  • Supporting Senior administrators on various payroll related activities
  • Scanning and electronic filing of payroll and non-payroll documents
  • Monthly account Reconciliations
  • Calculating various payroll related entitlements and payments relating to employee lifecycle
