Job Description With an exciting pipeline of new hotels and projects coming on board, our Payroll Team is growing! We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our supportive team at our Maroochydore Head Office. About the Role Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end processing of payroll for our diverse portfolio of hotel properties across Australia and New Zealand. Your expertise will ensure our team members are paid accurately and on time, and that we remain compliant with all relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume, multi-site workforce Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with awards and EBAs Prepare and reconcile payroll reports and journals Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner Liaise with internal stakeholders and external bodies as required Assist with process improvements and payroll-related projects Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in full end-to-end payroll processing Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards and EBAs Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Chris21, Micropay, or similar) High attention to detail and strong numerical skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Additional Information At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
