Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable payroll professional who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to our employees. Your expertise and enthusiasm will make you a valued subject matter expert!

Day to day you will:

  • Be responsible for high volume timesheet award interpretation and data entry.
  • Process large volumes of end-to-end new employee contracts, terminations and relevant employment changes.
  • Process timely payroll transactions, calculations as well as peer checking relevant pay run.
  • Provide exceptional customer service answering general level 2-3 payroll queries including but not limited to awards, policies, superannuation, and taxation.
  • Adhere to all relevant awards/legislative instruments and relevant legislation.
  • Prepare timely delivery of employee pay advice, government agency reporting and ad hoc payroll reporting.
  • Collate payroll documentation and ensure all processes and submissions are audit compliant.
  • Undertake all leave reconciliations i.e., annual leave, long service leave and sick leave and any other leave as required.

Qualifications

What we would like to see:

  • Previous payroll experience in large and complex organisations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of superannuation, taxation, payroll tax and other payroll legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a flexible, multi-functional team environment.
  • Strong numeracy and excel skills.
  • Experience in processing large volumes of work while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
  • Experience in TimeTarget Workforce Management system and Chris 21 is desirable but not essential
