JOB SUMMARY:

Pure Water Technology is looking for a professional Payroll Officer to be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll for site and office staff. This includes maintaining time records, managing project-based allowances, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS (Wage Protection System), and handling payroll queries from employees working across multiple project sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience in the construction or contracting industry in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, and gratuity/end-of-service benefit calculations.
  • Experience managing payroll for large labor workforces across multiple sites.
  • Proficient in payroll and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, MatrixPay).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong data management skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with site teams and multicultural labor forces.

Responsibilities
  • Process monthly payroll for both labor and staff employees, including overtime, site allowances, shift differentials, and project bonuses.
  • Collect and verify attendance and timekeeping data from various construction sites (e.g., biometric systems, timesheets).
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and HR to track leaves, absences, and manpower deployment.
  • Prepare and upload WPS files and salary transfers in line with UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Calculate and process end-of-service benefits (EOSB), leave salary, and final settlements for site workers and staff.
  • Maintain and update payroll records for employees including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Generate payroll reports for projects, cost centers, and management as needed.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with UAE Labour Law, WPS, and any applicable free zone or mainland authority rules.
  • Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries from site and office employees.
  • Assist in audits and provide payroll data for cost control and project budgeting purposes.
