Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer(s) to join our team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll for our employees. This is a critical role within our organisation, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.

  • Advance System Administrator, ensuring all anomalies completed for payroll, checking rosters
  • Checking payslips and reports
  • Main contact to liaise with CIPHR our payroll provider.
  • Comprehensive administration of Central Support payroll.
  • Ensuring the company meets statutory requirements and keeps up to date with current legislation with regards to PAYE and other payroll areas.
  • Main contact for all hotel payroll related queries and employment related tax advice.
  • Monthly payover PAYE/NI.
  • Processing SSP/SMP/SPP etc.
  • Ensure all PAYE submissions balance & DD’s are due to collect.
  • Liaising with external bodies including HMRC/DWP/CSA/Local Authorities/Job centre Plus/Citizens Advice Bureau/National Statistics and other public bodies.
  • Ensure all forecasts are entres into the system via the hotel in a timely manner & payroll forecast variances are reported/chased corrected
  • Simplyhealth/Aviva/APL/Nest/ Other Pension Providers, Admin and processing for group.
  • Processing of Statutory Redundancy Payments.
  • Monitoring hotel wage payments – to maintain central control.
  • Monitoring and recovering wage advances when applicable.
  • Monitoring BACS rejections and returns – ensuring payment of outstanding wages.
  • Reports including producing monthly forecast each week.
  • Any reasonable request from Group HR or Group Finance.
