About the role
We are now looking for a talented Payroll Officer to join our People Team on a fixed-term basis until March 2026. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable experience in the sports industry while contributing to a dynamic and innovative team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensuring compliance with award and non-award conditions
  • Efficiently handling the payroll processes for new hires, terminations, and adjustments
  • Providing prompt and thorough support for payroll enquires
  • Assisting with payroll reporting and data analysis tasks as needed

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes
  • Experience with using Access MicrOPay (SAGE) (highly regarded)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and ability to efficiently prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a genuine enthusiasm for collaborating within a team environment
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
