POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking payroll professionals to join our client’s Financial Services Risk and Controls function. Openings are available at both the Manager/Supervisor and Analyst/Senior Associate levels. These roles will oversee or support accurate, compliant payroll operations across U.S. and international regions, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors. Successful candidates will bring deep payroll expertise, strong risk and compliance knowledge, and the ability to manage relationships, audits, and system processes in a high-volume environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MANAGER & ANALYST LEVELS):

  • Experience in payroll operations, including both domestic and international processing.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems, compliance standards, and tax regulations.
  • Strong risk and compliance understanding in payroll-related processes.
  • Vendor management experience and ability to oversee audits.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with executive benefit programs (PSU, RSU) preferred for Manager level.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PAYROLL MANAGER (SUPERVISOR/MANAGER LEVEL):

  • Oversee accurate and timely delivery of U.S. and international payroll, including off-cycle/on-cycle events, manual check processing, and payroll funding.
  • Manage financial reporting, tax compliance, garnishment processing, W-2 delivery, and statutory payments.
  • Ensure payroll system accuracy post-updates, maintain required documentation, and uphold payroll subject matter expertise.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Conduct audits of internal teams and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, legal requirements, and corporate standards.
  • Provide oversight for executive benefit programs such as PSU and RSU.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PAYROLL PROCESSING ANALYST (ANALYST/SR. ASSOCIATE LEVEL):

  • Coordinate and process domestic and international payroll activities.
  • Create and maintain process documentation to ensure consistent procedures across all locations.
  • Maintain internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Research and resolve payroll issues promptly and accurately.
  • Manage timely funding of international payroll liabilities; prepare monthly general ledger files.
  • Oversee year-end reconciliation and reporting for all payroll locations.
  • Liaise with third-party providers and respond to notifications from providers or tax authorities.
