Optum is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join the fast-paced world of Payroll operations. Payroll is processed on a bi-weekly basis for multiple states, and this person will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility including data audits and support to the Payroll Team. Reporting relationship: The role reports into Manager HROps and Payroll. This is an Individual contributor role. Primary Responsibilities: The role will be responsible for processing payroll and ensuring compliances and communication with onshore counterparts Provide resolution of employee’s queries through case management tool as per defined TAT Communication with different departments and vendors for seamlessly completion of daily BAU work Support projects and initiatives as assigned by the SME/Manager Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject 1+ years of experience. Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Especially EXCEL and PowerPoint Good in number crunching Flexible working night shifts Good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of US Payroll Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud or any ERP At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
