Our India team manages the full backend engine for U.S. operations—including payroll, billing, compliance, dispatch coordination, and reporting. This is not a call center role—it is an operations command environment with high performance expectations, strict accuracy, and process discipline. We are seeking a Payroll Specialist – U.S. Trucking Accounts to manage end-to-end payroll operations for U.S. field workforce including CDL drivers, mechanics, and project labor working across multiple states. The role requires deep coordination with Dispatch and Compliance teams to ensure all hours, pay types, project assignments, and state rules are validated accurately before payroll cut-off. This role is critical for maintaining payroll accuracy, financial compliance, and workforce satisfaction in a fast-paced U.S. trucking environment. What You Bring Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. 3–6 years experience in U.S. payroll / trucking payroll / logistics payroll. Excellent English communication & coordination capability. Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivots, Data Validation). Discipline in accuracy, timelines & structured documentation. Comfortable working U.S. night shifts & time-sensitive operations. Nice to Have Experience with trucking software (Samsara, Motive/KeepTruckin, etc.) ADP/Paycom/QuickBooks/Gusto or similar payroll systems Knowledge of OT rules, CA rules, and federal/state wage compliance Key Responsibilities Payroll Execution & Trucking Coordination Validate weekly driving hours (Drive, On-Duty, Sleeper, etc.) pulled from Dispatch systems. Apply correct pay types: Regular, OT, DT, Layover, Detention, Bonuses, Reimbursements. Ensure correct Truck-to-Driver and Load-to-Pay mapping. Track and reconcile stop pay, lumpers, mileage pay, and fuel reimbursements. Investigate discrepancies in load hours vs. dispatch logs. Multi-State Payroll Compliance Work with rate tables & state-specific pay rules. Support certified payroll/reporting for construction projects (if applicable). Documentation & Reporting Maintain audit-ready payroll input files and compliance logs. Publish weekly payroll trackers for U.S. leadership review.
