DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll & Pensions Assistant to join us on a part-time or full-time basis, to help keep things running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our people are paid correctly and on time, providing expert advice to managers and staff on payroll and pension queries. You’ll work closely with the Payroll and Pensions Manager, Payroll and Pensions Administrator, and the HR admin team, while also identifying ways to improve processes and supporting wider payroll projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll take ownership of the monthly payroll process, ensuring all starters, leavers, changes, benefits, and deductions are handled accurately and on time. You’ll check and report on payroll output, ensuring accuracy of the final payroll. As the go-to expert, you’ll provide clear guidance to staff and the wider HR team on payroll and pension-related queries. You’ll also play a key role in improving processes, identifying efficiencies, and keeping the payroll team’s procedures manual up to date.
