Overview Ensure Accuracy. Drive Improvement. Deliver Exceptional Payroll Service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Processor to join our team. This role is responsible for performing all payroll processing activities with accuracy and efficiency, while contributing to process improvements, metrics tracking, and special projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely payroll for our multi-state workforce while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws. Key Responsibilities Process timely and accurate bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 900+ employees, including adjustments, garnishments, benefit deductions, and taxes. Conduct final audits of electronic timecards for field employees. Troubleshoot, research, and resolve payroll inquiries using established policies, procedures, and documentation. Maintain procedural and system documentation; assist with payroll training. Escalate recurring payroll discrepancies for analysis and resolution. Generate accurate payroll reports as needed. Recommend and help implement process changes to drive operational improvements. Support special projects and assist department managers as required. About You Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred. 1–5 years of payroll experience required; multi-state payroll experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate level). Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and/or HomeCare-HomeBase strongly preferred. Knowledge of federal and state wage/hour laws. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Preferred Certifications Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
