PAYROLL QAT SPECIALIST:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Payroll QAT Specialist for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

PAYROLL QAT SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The objective of the GHRT QAT project is to ensure that HR software meets the functional requirements specified in the technical design document, identify and fix defects, and perform regression testing to ensure no unintended functionality changes. The primary focus is to deliver high-quality services and support efficiently within project timelines and on budget.

PAYROLL QAT SPECIALIST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a QAT.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HR/HCM.
  • 5+ years of experience with Canadian Payroll year-end activities and wage and hour payroll practices.
  • Strong experience with integration functionality between Payroll and Finance postings.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including VLOOKUP, pivots, and databases.

PAYROLL QAT SPECIALIST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Sound knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
  • Working knowledge of Jira.
Responsibilities
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and execute test cases for HR Application system/integration changes.
  • Troubleshoot problems and contribute to their resolution in a hands-on manner when necessary.
  • Assess QAT results, take appropriate action, and work closely with the development group to resolve defects.
  • Write QAT test documentation, including strategies, test cases, results, and exit reports.
  • Forecast workday estimates for projects and business-as-usual activities.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
