Responsibilities

• Independently manage the monthly payroll process
• Maintain and manage employee master data
• Process employee joiners, leavers, and changes in employment conditions
• Communicate with health insurance funds, tax offices, and other authorities
• Prepare reports and analyses
• Support year-end closing activities and audits
• Act as a contact person for employees regarding payroll-related questions
• Support the optimization and digitalization of payroll processes

Requirements

• Completed commercial/business administration training or an equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in payroll / payroll accounting is desirable
• Good knowledge of German payroll tax and social security law
• Confident use of the MS Office package
• Careful, structured, and reliable way of working
• Discretion and a strong sense of responsibility when handling confidential employee data
• Good German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
