DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role supports all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, auditing, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to both routine payroll operations and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate payroll data to ensure timely and accurate payroll runs.
  • Perform audits, reconciliations, and data comparisons to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Respond to employee and vendor inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain payroll records, documentation, and spreadsheets in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with tax filings and payments at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Support expatriate and special payroll processing as needed.
  • Generate and distribute internal and external payroll reports.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to support payroll-related initiatives.
  • Participate in onboarding and training activities related to payroll systems and procedures.
  • Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative, accounting, or data entry roles.
  • Experience in a payroll, HR, or support role is a plus but not required.
