SUMMARY: Provide accounting support to the ownership & departmental personnel by ensuring data integrity of financial information, providing timely & accurate reporting to management, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining internal controls. Reviews data and creates accounting records within the accounting system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent
• One to three years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Acute attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent computer skills

• Prepares and records bi-weekly payrolls for Bear Homes, Bear Development, Construction Management Association, BREG Services and Bear Property Management.
• Oversees the set-up and changes for any team members within ADP.
• Payroll reporting and compliance.
• Maintains all employee folders.
• Setting up Garnishments.
• Checking invoices for insurance and monitoring carrier connections within HRIS system.
• Records and submits payment requests for benefit insurance premiums.
• Prepares and records Commissions.
• Updates and balances FSA account.
• Handles onboarding in HRIS system.
• Supports Human Resources department.
• Provides requested supporting documentation for audits and tax preparation
• Prepare and maintain accounting transactions within accounting system.
• Leads payroll related software improvement projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
