Description
  • Preparing and validating payroll data before submission to the external payroll provider
  • Reviewing payroll reports and checking payments, deductions and leave balances for accuracy
  • Investigating discrepancies and coordinating corrections and adjustments
  • Reviewing award classifications, pay rates, travel and overnight allowances, and enterprise agreement conditions
  • Responding to employee payroll queries and explaining outcomes clearly
  • Improving payroll controls and processes to reduce manual intervention
