You’ll maintain payroll data, audit timekeeping records, process special payments, and collaborate closely with HR and Finance to ensure cost allocations and data integrity. You’ll handle payroll inquiries with care, assist with reporting and audits, and help optimize Centrus’s payroll processes to keep them efficient and compliant. We’d Love to Hear from People With: An associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of progressive payroll experience, ideally in a multi-state or government contractor setting. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (Oracle or similar ERP experience preferred). Solid understanding of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and tax principles. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting. Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” Clearance (if located in Piketon). A Successful Candidate Brings: Experience in manufacturing, technical, or government contracting environments. Familiarity with DCAA or DOE compliance and federal contractor payroll standards. A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) credential. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to obtain and maintain a Q-level security clearance (if located in Piketon). Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000. This position is Bonus eligible.
