QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in payroll, ideally within the construction or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll, tax laws, and payment processes
  • Experience with European payroll compliance is an advantage
  • Proficiency in [Payroll Software, e.g. Brightpay, Sage, Coins, ADP, QuickBooks, or equivalent]
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, subcontractors, and partners across countries
Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for weekly, Bi- Weekly and monthly employees
  • Handle subcontractor payments
  • Prepare information to support payroll filings in European countries where we operate
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management and auditors
  • Ensure compliance with Irish tax regulations, pension/benefit contributions, and other statutory requirements
  • Work closely with the payroll and accounts team to resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally
  • Stay up to date with industry-specific legislation and collective agreements affecting payroll
