JOB SUMMARY

Fesler Tax Service LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in payroll processing, and effective communication. A Mixteco speaker is highly preferred, as we aim to serve a diverse client base, including those who speak indigenous languages.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in payroll processing or a related field.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and tax filing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee hours, wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Assist clients with payroll-related inquiries and provide solutions to payroll discrepancies.
  • Stay up to date on payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate direct deposit payments and payroll distributions.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
  • Generate payroll reports and summaries for clients as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist clients with payroll setup and compliance.
  • Support office operations as needed, including data entry and administrative tasks.
